I attended the vigil today for Dr Ling Felce, who was killed by a lorry driver at the Plain roundabout here in Oxford last week.

The junction is a notorious collision spot. Standing with hundreds of others this afternoon, it's not hard to see why. Lorries, buses and cars jostle for position on the tight roundabout, with cylists holding their breath each time they have to pass through.

Dr Felce's death was tragic, entirely avoidable and a sobering reminder of the dangers cyclists - and other vulnerable road users - are put in every time we use the roads. And it comes less than a month after another cyclist was killed north of the city, near Parkway Station.

Seriously, enough is enough. Stop f***ing killing cyclists. Make roads safe for all users.
